These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the State of Victoria, Australia. In the event that a dispute arises from these Website Terms and Conditions, you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
Commercial Terms - Additional Terms and Conditions
1. Membership Fees and Charges
The Member agrees to pay LPD charges in accordance with its commercial rates from time to time as published on the LPD Website. The Member agrees to make payments in accordance with LPD's terms for payment as published on the LPD Website.
2. Registration of Member's Property
The Member shall register the Property to be registered ( The Property) by following the Registration Process described on the LPD website.
3. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
The member by registering the property accepts the LPD Website Terms & Conditions .
4. Claims
Any claim made by the Member must be made in good faith. LPD shall only be liable to honour a claim if made in good faith.
5. Claims Process
LPD and the Member agree to adopt the following process –
(a) The Member shall register the Property;
(b) The Member shall affix a LPD Sticker to the registered Property:
(c ) The Member shall notify LPD in the event that the Property is lost.
(d) The Member agrees that the Member shall pay to LPD a Reward $20.00 (the Reward) plus a handling fee of $15.00, plus the cost of delivery of the found item from $14.00 depending on the delivery service the member chooses, and the fee for the Reward and Handling shall be determined from time to time as posted on the LPD website;
(e) The Member grants to LPD a lien over the Property when found by the Finder (Finder) and returned by the Finder to LPD until the Reward is paid by the Member.
